Phones 4U has 550 standalone stores and 160 concessions which are within Dixons Carphone outlets. All of Phones 4 U’s 550 standalone stores have remained closed today while their administrators PWC is actively looking for a buyer.

Could Derby based A1 Comms who owns buymobiles.net may be on top of the list to buy troubled Phones 4U?
Update :
EE (Orange & T-Mobile network) is possibly looking to buy 80 Phones 4u stores and retail staffs.
Dixons Carphone has also stepped in and released this statement earlier
‘We would like to offer support with regards to our Phones 4U shop-in-shop colleagues, we hope to help them secure new jobs with us and will be opening up discussions with the administrators to agree what we can do. Any Phones4U colleagues interested in applying for one of the existing 1500 vacancies we have in our Carphone Warehouse stores are also welcome to get in touch with us.’
